About Johannesburg Printing Company, MNI Printers
MNI Printers was established in 1988 by Neil Emmenes along with his wife Anna-Marie. Starting as a small home grown business in the southern suburbs of Johannesburg, MNI printers, through hard work and perseverance, has grown itself to be a trusted litho
printing company with top clientele, supplying both high quality services and products, which have earned MNI numerous excellence awards.
MNI Printers success can be put down to hard work and the objective, to be the best. These sentiments can be attributed to the concrete principles held by Owner Neil Emmenes, who is no new comer to hard work and dedication. Neil Emmenes is undoubtedly one of South Africa’s all time greats in the world of cycling, winning numerous awards including the State President’s Award for Cycling in 1976.
Neil started cycling at the age of 11 and as a juvenile, won many titles on the track as well as the SA road championships. Being the ambitious person back then as he is today, Neil went on to win more Championships as a junior and senior cyclist on the track, which included Provincial and National Championships in many categories including 400m 1,500m 10km 20km and Madisons. Neil’s cycling career highlight came with him winning the 1,000m Sprint title at the 1976 SA Champs, the same year he won the State President’s Award for Cycling.
After achieving all he had set out to do, Neil Emmenes followed his hunger for success and went overseas to pursue a career in cycling, where he took part in numerous track events in Belgium, Denmark, Germany and France. Unfortunately due to sanctions against South Africa at the time, Neil was forced to return home prematurely.
Upon his return to South Africa Neil focused his attention to road riding , winning an array of stages and king of the mountain competitions in Kokstad and in the Tour of the Winelands. Neil's greatest achievement on the road was a stage win in the renowned Rapport Cycle Tour from Cape Town to Johannesburg in 1982.
In 1988 he decided to hang up his competitive saddle and focus his determination to be the best, into his own business. As with his cycling career, Neil's ambition and commitment lead him to the top and MNI printers is testament to this, with more than two decades of successes behind them and many more to come.
